does land resgistry inform the inland revenue when a property is sold?
Posted by: admin / Category: revenue properties
The purchasers solicitors submit a land tax return form that they nowadays is immediately after the transaction is concluded submitted online.
It includes many details, such as the sellers name and address, solicitors name and address, vendor (seller)s name and address, whether the parties are connected, and obviously all the tax involved, and so much more!!)
Its a big crime to lie to the Inland Revenue – so be safe in the knowledge – solicitors dont lie (at least on this one occassion!!)
